Clarion Post Office Food Drive Supports Local Food Pantry
Clarion, PA – Community Action, Inc. (CAI) is proud to recognize and thank the Clarion Post Office for organizing their recent "Stamp Out Hunger" food drive to benefit CAI's local food pantry. The Post Office collection brought in much-needed donations that will directly support individuals and families facing food insecurity throughout the Clarion community.
On behalf of Community Action, Inc., Community Impact Director, Meagan J. Wrhen, expressed sincere appreciation for the effort and generosity demonstrated by the postal team and community participants.
“As someone who is new to my role with Community Action, Inc., I’ve been incredibly moved to see the level of support and compassion within this community,” said Wrhen. “Your efforts made a meaningful difference for the individuals and families we serve every day. Because of your generosity and commitment, we are better equipped to provide essential food and support to neighbors in need. It is inspiring to see local partners like the post office step up in such a compassionate and impactful way.”
The food drive reflects the power of community collaboration and highlights the vital role that local partners play in helping Community Action, Inc. fulfill its mission. Donations collected through this effort will help ensure that the food pantry can continue to meet the growing needs of area residents.
Community Action, Inc. extends its gratitude to everyone involved in the Food Drive, including the postal patrons who donated non-perishable food items, and the postal staff who coordinated, collected, and delivered the donations. “Partnerships truly strengthen our mission and remind us what is possible when a community comes together,” Wrhen added.
