Successful Share the Warmth Campaign
The Share the Warmth Campaign Drive, held during the month of November 2021 by the First Commonwealth Bank (FCBank)raised over $8,900 for Community Action, Inc. services in Jefferson County, PA. "Community Action, Inc. truly appreciates the FCBank and local donors' support in making this funding available to help with the special needs arising this winter as the weather gets colder. This funding will help with warm clothing, shelter, and living necessities for homeless individuals and victims of domestic violence; help with furnace repairs, and Christmas gifts for working families in need," noted Ms. Fusco. "It is partnerships within the community working together to alleviate or resolve local challenges which makes our whole community stronger," noted Ms. Fusco. "FCBank is proud to be a community leader and wants to help meet community-based needs within our service area," advised Ms. Martin. "What better to way, than to support an organization knowledgeable in what the needs are and how to best assist individuals and families therefore we chose Community Action, Inc. as our Campaign Fund recipient this year," added Ms. Martin.
