Christmas Dinner Assistance in Clarion County

This Christmas season 273 families comprised of 966 Clarion County residents received help with their holiday dinner. Community Action, Inc., through the generosity of Friends for Food, and local donations, was able to provide families with turkeys, hams, or gift certificates to purchase their Christmas meals. Local donors included: Chartwells Dining Services of Clarion University; Clarion Chamber of Business & Industry (Food Stock); Clarion County Special Olympics; Clarion University's Eagle Ambassadors; First Presbyterian Church; Immaculate Conception Church; Kingsville United Methodist Church; Knights of Columbus; P.A. State Education Association; Passavant Memorial Homes; William Penn Association; and many individual donors.
