Jefferson County Kindergarten Registration Dates

Will your child reach the age of five this year? If so, it is time to register them for kindergarten. Kindergarten registrations will be held February through May in Jefferson County school districts -- please see the list below. Eligibility varies by district and you should contact your school district for specific details. Brockway Area School District: February 7, 8, 9, 13, 14 and 15. Please call the elementary school at (814)265-8417 to make a registration appointment. Brookville Area School District: March 21, 22 and 23. Parents must attend a meeting on March 15 at 7:00 p.m. or March 16 at 9:00 a.m. to obtain information about the district’s transition practices and registration procedures. Clarion-Limestone School District: March 22 and 23. DuBois Area School District: March 19 at Juniata Elementary School, March 27 at C.G. Johnson Elementary School and March 28 at Sykesville Elementary School. Punxsutawney Area School District: May 9 at the High School Multi-purpose Room. Parents must attend a meeting on April 18 at 6:00 p.m. in the Middle School Cafeteria to obtain information about the district’s transition practices and to schedule a registration appointment.
