VITA
The VITA program provides free income tax preparation for individuals whose income is less than $60,000 annually. This service is available to Clarion and Jefferson County residents.
Crossroads
Helps domestic violence victims and their children remain safe by providing emergency shelter, 24-hour hotline, community and school educational programs, options counseling, legal advocacy, and group support.
Food Pantry
Provides emergency food assistance to families in Clarion County.
RVS
Helps homeless veterans and their families, or those at risk of homelessness, by providing case management and a long term goal of housing stability and economic independence.
Weatherization Assistance Program
Reduces household energy costs by increasing energy efficiency and improving the health and safety of each resident.
Transitional Housing
Transitional Housing is designed as a bridge from homelessness to self-sufficiency and provides case management, assistance in finding permanent housing, budget counseling, and assistance with applications for other services.
Adult Education
Helps individuals prepare for the high school equivalency test (GED or HiSET) by providing instruction that improves reading, math, and computer skills; enhances job readiness; and encourages career exploration or advanced training options. Support services and case management are also available. Tutors provided on a case-by-case basis.
Medical Assistance Transportation Program
The Medical Assistance Transportation Program (MATP) provides non-emergency transportation to Medical Assistance (MA) covered appointments for Jefferson County MA recipients who do not have transportation available to them.
Emergency Shelter
The emergency shelters offer a safe place to stay for homeless individuals and families, while providing case management and assistance in searching for adequate housing.
Housing for Homeless and Disabled Persons
Provides permanent supportive housing to homeless and disabled people, providing them with case management, budget counseling, and help with establishing financial resources.
