Community Action, Inc. Names Clarion County
Senior Corps-RSVP February Volunteer of the Month |

Community Action, Inc. announced Norma Troup of New Bethlehem was selected to be the Clarion County Senior Corps-RSVP Volunteer of the Month for February. Norma has been a member of the Senior Corps-RSVP since July 2008 volunteering for Goodwill in New Bethlehem, which she says, is one of the nicest Goodwills I have ever seen. While there, she stocks shelves. Norma also volunteers at New Bethlehem Free Library. When asked why she volunteers Norma stated, "A friend convinced me to start volunteering because she has so much fun with it. I enjoy being around people, meeting new friends and reconnecting with old ones. It gets you up in the morning and keeps you going. When Norma is not volunteering, she enjoys reading, putting together puzzles, bird-watching, playing bridge with the Monday Bridge Club and spending time with her friends and family. Norma is a member of the New Bethlehem Presbyterian Church. Community Action, Inc.'s Senior Corps-RSVP is very proud to have Norma as a member. She depicts the true spirit of volunteering and is dedicated to making a difference in people's lives.
