Community Action, Inc. announced Mona “Jane” Wenner of Strattanville was selected to be the Clarion County Senior Corps-RSVP Volunteer of the Month for March.
Jane has been a member of the Senior Corps-RSVP since October 2012 volunteering for Community Action, Inc.'s Clarion County Food Pantry and Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA), and the Strattanville American Legion bingo.
When asked why she volunteers, Jane stated, “It feels good to help people and give back to the community. I really enjoy volunteering at Community Action, Inc. The staff and other volunteers are wonderful and very appreciative.”
When Jane is not volunteering she enjoys photography, traveling, reading, walking, and spending time with family, friends, and especially her grandchildren. She is a member of the Strattanville American Legion.
