Community Action, Inc. announced Hope Sarnovsky of Marion Center was selected to be the Indiana County Senior Corps-RSVP Volunteer of the Month for March.
Hope has been a member of the Senior Corps-RSVP since November 2003 volunteering for Aging Services, Inc.'s Two Lick Senior Center assisting with cooking, serving meals, cleaning, fundraising, and special activities.
When asked why she volunteers, Hope stated, "I really enjoy being around people and helping those in need. I started coming to the Center a few days a week, now I come every day.”
When Hope is not volunteering she enjoys crocheting, knitting, quilting, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends. She is a member of the Two Lick Center Red Hatters and attends the Church of the Resurrection in Clymer.
